Loudoun Soccer is excited and proud to announce our weeklong Foot Skills and Finishing Summer Camp for our Travel Players with a Birth Year between 2013-2017.
Brought to you by Coaches Al Bonilla and Scott Mitchell, our camp presents a golden opportunity to develop and refine individual offensive skills while learning to create goal scoring opportunities.
The technical camp focuses on:
- Technical Skill Development – first touch, fast feet, dribbling, moves, turns, receiving (air and ground balls), 1v1s, 2v2s & scoring goals.
- Tactical Skill Development - how to create scoring opportunities, recognizing goalkeeper vulnerabilities, finishing and ball striking, breakaways, finishing off the cross, driving vs placing the ball, rebounds & player runs.
Each day will finish with scrimmages and offensive games, as well as exercises incorporating goalkeepers. Street soccer games and mini tournaments help provide players with competitive opportunities to be creative on the ball.
Instruction and competition take place from 9 am - 1 pm. Campers choosing the full/extended day experience (9am - 4 pm) will enjoy less-strenuous activities to round out the day, like arts & crafts, water games, board games, and more.
