SUMMER DAY CAMP

Each summer, Loudoun Soccer hosts an elite training experience for Travel goalkeepers who want to improve and continue to elevate their game. Each day the camp will focus on a different area of goalkeeping with a strong emphasis on technique (handling, kicking, diving) and the tactical side of goalkeeping (communication, decision making, set pieces). We will also incorporate competitive goalkeeper games throughout each session.


Our advanced curriculum will be led by both Loudoun Soccer Goalkeeper staff and college GK coaches. with each day building on the previous day's skills.

AGE GROUPS:

Rising U12 - U19
Age, gender, and skill level will be taken into account when forming groups. No special requests.


SAMPLE SCHEDULE: 

6:00 - 6:15 PM - Welcome/Introduction/Schedules/Rules

6:15 - 7:00 PM - Session 1: Shot Stopping, Diving, etc.

7:00 - 8:00 PM - Session 2: Angle Play, Playing Out of the Back, etc.

8:00 - 8:30 PM - Tactical Discussion (indoor classroom)

 

FEES:  $300


What to bring?  Water, a properly inflated soccer ball, all goalkeeper equipment (gloves, shirt, pants).
