** Note: Due to the anticipated large number of boys in the U14 age group, separate try outs will be held for the A team and the B-D teams. A third try out is offered in the B-D groups. Players are welcome to attend all try outs if they wish.
 
Locations and times will be announced closer to the actual try-out dates.

Loudoun Soccer Teams Receive WAGS Sportsmanship Award
Congratulations to the LOUD 95G Red, 93G Red, 91G Black and 90G Red for winning the WAGS sportsmanship award for the fall 2007 season.  The teams are chosen by their opponents for good sportsmanship on the playing field.  Each team is requested to evaluate on how respectful the team /coaches are to the referees, how respectful the team spectators are towards others as well as the referees, and the positive support the team has for her teammates.
 
Recipients of this award will receive tickets to a future D.C. United match where they will be recognized during a half time ceremony.

LOUD 95G Silver (U12G) finished finalists of the U12 White Division, going into the championship game undefeated and holding a shut-out.
LOUD 92G White (U15G) finished as finalists in the top bracket of the Red Division, going into the championship game which ended with penalty kicks.
 
MSI March Madness
LOUD 98G Black (U9G) finished finalists of the U9 Potomac Division, after a hard fought championship game against a team from Central Pennsylvania.

LOUD 98B Red (U9B) finished champions of the Red Division, after a hard fought championship game.
LOUD 97G White (U10G) finished finalists of the U10 Black Division, going into the final undefeated and outscoring opponents 17-4.

Loudoun Soccer players named to US National teams

Loudoun Soccer would like to congratulate the following players for their success in the US National Team.

Whitney Church and Olivia Mackey have been invited to attend the 92 InterRegional Camp in California.

Katy Colas has been named to the U15 National Camp.  The US U15 Girls’ National Team will kick off 2008 with a training camp in January at The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

Two of the LOUD 91G Red, Megan McCabe and Ashley Manning, have been named to the Super Y League 91 ODP National Team.

Katy Colas is officially part of the U14 Women’s National Team.  Out of the 100 players attending National Camp, Katy was chosen as part of the top 24 to be part of the National Team.  She will be attending the U14 Nike Friendlies in California in September.  She has also been chosen to compete in the Inter Regional Event that will be held in Coral Spring, Florida November 17 through 24.  CONGRATULATIONS Katy!  To read more about Katy’s great accomplishments, click

Select teams

For the Fall 2007 season,  Loudoun Soccer will field 54 teams playing at the select level.  Teams will be playing in three of the area travel leagues:

a.  Prior to a throw-in when the ball is in possession of the team substituting.  The opposing team may substitute as well if the team in possession is making a substitution.
